Glossary of pull-apart structures related to foliation parallel shear from Untala granite , E.Rajasthan

The following flash slide show is of photographs chosen from an album that the author has prepared on pull-apart structures and kinematic indicators from the Untala granite pluton, the oldest in Rajasthan. The pull aparts and other indicators are as shown by Hanmer 1986 and Simpson and Schmid 1981. Most of these are indicative of foliation parallel dextral shear, some are unrelated to foliation parallel shear. One of the photograph out of eleven is repeated in a twin photograph later in the show.  All photgraphs numbering 36 are available from the author in the following formats( the prices are inclusive of postage and handling) and all bear detailed captions:

B & W  Postcard Size:   Rs: 680=00   US $ 20=00

Color Postcard Size       Rs: 550=00    US $ 20=00

35 mm transperancies    Rs: 1000=00   US $ 25=00

OHP sheets (on Hewllett Packard sheets) Rs. 1600=00  US $ 40=00

Please get in touch with the author by post, email, fax or telephone which you will find at the bottom of each page of this material posted on the website or click the image to send this domain's emailing program. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL THE PHOTOGRAPHS THAT APPEAR IN THIS SLIDE SHOW ARE "CRUNCHED" TO 32 OR 64 COLOURS IN STEAD OF THE ORIGINAL 24 BIT OR 16 MILLION OR TRUE COLOURS AND THE QUALITY IS THEREFORE VERY INFERIOR TO THOSE THAT WILL BE SUPPLIED.

The Untala granite was mapped by the author and his research student during the tenure ( 3 Dec 1996 to 2 Dec 1999) of a research project funded by the DST under the aegis of the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi, India, and apart from the geological map produced below, the outcome was a vast amount of structural data despite rather scanty exposures.
